Job Overview
As an EIS Account Administrator, you will be an integral member of the AvidXchange Energy Information Services team, examining utility bills, contacting vendors and ensuring data and payments are paid properly and posted to the AvidXchange Utility database.
Job ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:
You will support the Utility Bill Analysis and Reporting process to effectively identify and quantify billing errors and to resolve exceptions.
You will process customers' utility bills to ensure timely payment and to avoid late payment penalties.
You will analyze customers' utility bill data for accuracy and savings opportunities.
You will maintain the customer database and account information.
Areas of Impact:
Your work results will impact the customers' standing with their utility vendors.
Your role will impact data accuracy that is critical to customers' ability to understand their energy spend and analyze usage data for business decisions, such as budgeting and energy efficiency investments.
Experience and QualificationsExperience:
Do you have a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience working with payment processes?
Are you exceptionally organized and very customer centric?
Can you be flexible while balancing multiple priorities?

Skills:
Demonstrated ability to learn a new product quickly and thoroughly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical background
Can take direction as well as operate independently
Successful experience working directly with customers to resolve complex issues
Utility/Customer Service background
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with special emphasis on Excel, Word and Access products as well as Internet/Web-based technology

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
